Using SMS 2003 to deploy applications to users on request

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I want to be able to deploy applications to users using SMS when users
request them. I have created and tested the relivant packages. I need an
easy mechanism so that helpdesk staff that are not familiar with SMS can
acheive this easily.

This is what I have done....
Created a Global Security Group called ApplicationName_Install
When a user requests an application the helpdesk staff place the computer
account in the global group.
AD Group Discovery is enabled and scheduled to run every 15 minutes
Created a collection (that is updated every 15 minutes) with a query based
on System Resource - System Group Name = ApplicationName_Install
Advertised the package to the collection

This does not seem to be working. Can anyone point me in the right
direction or suggest an easier way to quickly and easily add a machine to a
collection?

Thanks

Richard
