If you are running SMS 2k3 SP3, try looking at looking at
v_GS_SYSTEM_CONSOLE_USAGE, here are a few queries to get you started.

Like many hospitals, we seem to have more computers than users, but,
continue
to get requests for new computers. I'm certain that this is more a
"computer
located in wrong place" issue, then a actual shortage, but, need a method
to
produce a graph or listing of these under-utilized assets. I'm presuming
this would be something that tracks Off vs. On time or non-loggedon time
or
idle time, or something similar...
Does anyone have a method of automatically producing this from SMS data,
or,
a third-party tool that could be used for this purpose?
Thanks!
