I am answering my own question...

I installed SP2 on the server and all the clients started to get resync with
the server.!!!!

I later found out that when I deleted the collection (from All Systems) I
deleted the clients from the inventory database. The clients don't know
this and are continuing to send delta inventory. Since there is no record
of this client in the database, SMS is rejecting the delta inventory since
it has no full inventory. All the clients were being resynche...

but the recync request was not reaching the clients and still the clients are
sending delta inventory
insted of full inventory.

this has beed for more that one week..... Please help me out guys..!!!!
