OK, gotcha! Thanks.

I am sorry. It should be "On the site server, delete the records for the
machines that have clients installed but showed as Client=No." Only need to
delete one time.

Thanks,

What do you mean by "both records"? IF I right-click on the computer and
delete it, what else do I have to delete? I'm running SMS 2003 w/SP2.

Thanks.

You may want to try following actons:
1. On the site server, delete both records for the machines that have
clients installed but showed as Client=No.
2. On the client machine, select Actions tab of the System Management
Properties. Select Discofery Data Collection Cycle and click Initate
Action
button.
3. On the site server, run AD System Discovery.
4. On the site server, run Update Collection Membership.

Above actions may resolve your issue.

Thanks,

I see many posts and replies to what appears to be a common problem,
when
client is installed and running without any problems, but the console
displays as not being installed. the location services.log is fine,
client
can find the MP, HW and SW inventory is OK, and still same problem from
the
SMS console, I have heard of a fix to be applied to the SQL database,
has
anyone else out there heard of this fix?
