Dear All,

I am running SMS 2003 SP1 (applied SP1) in advanced security mode, in
Windows 2003 AD (No Wins) environment and Win XP SP2 clients. My problem
is;

1. No Inventory collected.
2. Client does not receive advertisement.
3. Remote Control on Client machine does not work although the agent is
Installed and shows in the client's agent list.
4. Clients in my collection shows Site Code unassigned.

However the following has been accomplished;

1. Client pushes successful (SMS 2003 Advanced Clint installed)
2. I do see all client machines in "All Windows XP System "Collection.
3. Clients in my collection shows Assigned=Yes
4. When I try to rediscover the site, SMS confirms the assigned and
Discovered site matches.
5. The AD schema is extended and SMS objects are created in AD.
6. When I run SMS 2003 Trouble shooter the following is reported;
- SMS Agent Host not found (although it is not required on the SMS Site
Server, but runs as a service on client machines.
- The BITS service in the default site is not configured/not enabled
Otherwise all tested has passed.

Can anyone can shed some light on this for me please that would be great.

Cheers
