I'm not familiar with the tool at all. But, I read in the old SMS 2.0 doc
(http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/sms/2/all/reskit/en-us/part4/smc07.mspx
search for MIFWIN)
that it checks the registry key \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \SOFTWARE \Microsoft
\SMS \Client\Configuration\Client Properties\NOIDMIF to find the folder.
I think the advanced clients still use this key so it should still work.
