Changing from port 80 is not required. It is an optional configuration that
you may want
to do for security reasons. If you didn't make a change here, this should
not be an issue
for you. Our organization decided to make the change, but I missed
one of the steps when configuring. Because I missed this step all of my new
clients
installed, but inventory information did not get sent back to the Server and
I was getting
the exact same information in my log files that you had noted. Once I fixed
the settings
on my site server, Inventory information began flowing properly. As far as
your other question about the information
in your SMSSETUP.log file, I'm not sure what all that information means, but
I do know
that having the last line say "SMS Setup Completed Successfully" is a good
thing.
