Client connection account is under: "Site Settings" - "Connection
Accounts" - "Client".

As for your SMSMAN, the client is already in the deinstall state, that is
why SMSMAN just quits. If there really is no SMS client running on the W98
box, then it means that the client once tried to deinstall but was
interrupted and was unable to completely deinstall. In that case, you need
to remove the SMS reg key and then run SMSMAN again.
