What's your download policy set to? Look in "site settings"-"Client
agents"-"Advertised Programs client agent Properties"- policy polling
interval.
It should be set to 1 hour.

it is possible that your clients have not downloaded the policy yet so the
inventory resync has not kicked-in.
Also try forcing it by doing a "Machine policy retrieval and evaluation
cycle" on your clients through the sms control panel applet.

Once the policy is downloaded, on the next Hardware Inventory scan interval,
it should send a resync.
BTW do you have set your Hardware inventory cycle to 7 days (default.)? If
so, it wouldn't be until that duration will the resync get processed.
