    This is what I did:

    1) Create on Mif for each department

    2) Place each mif file within a directory on the Netlogon share.

    3) Within the logon script (KIX) copy the appropriate mif file to the
    workstation based on which NT group they belong to.

    The beauty of this is then when I client moves from one NT group to another
    NT group the new MIF file replaces the old one. SMS would then update the
    database on the next inventory cycle.
