    Nope, ALL client machines - every machine that has the SMS client
    installed and assigned to that site. They will all pick up the new
    sms_def.mof before next inventory.

    What happens when you edit the sms_def.mof file is that you enable
    another class [of information] and attributes of this class (specific
    bits of information) to be reported back by hardware inventory. So, in
    my example before what you basically do is say: "Report information from
    class Win32_Share (i.e.,shared folders) but report just the name of the
    share (Caption) and its physical location on disk (Path) for ALL SMS
    client computers in this site." The information gathered is the actual
    shared folders at the moment of inventory, plus hidden shares, of
    course. I see that you need this just for your servers, but that's the
    best you can do, unfortunately.
