This newsgroup is for "SMS Installer" related questions, you'll get more
help in the sms.admin or sms.setup newsgroups.

I've never tried installing a MP on a cluster node, from the looks of the
log everything else is ok?? Could it be how you are installing on the
cluster? I'd also just double check that a MP is even supported on a
cluster.

I am attempting to install an MP for SMS 2003 on Windows 2003 Cluster Node.
I get the following from the mpsetup.log:

When I run the MP.MSI manually I egt the following:
Setup failed due to unexpected circumstances
The error code is 80004005

When I run MP troubleshooter everything looks fine.
