    I am having problems installing the management point on an server dedicated
    to SMS and all its components. Can anyone help??? More specific information
    below: error statements, and log files. THANK YOU!

    In the administrator consule of SMS2003, under site status, the following
    critical errors appear:

    1. MESSAGE ID:1016

    SMS Site Component Manager failed to install this component on this site
         system.

    2. MESSAGE ID:4951

    SMS Site Component Manager failed to install this component, because the
    Microsoft Installer File for this component (MP.MSI) could not install.

    The solution is to the errors is to look in the following log files,
    MPSetup.log, MPmsi.log.
