SMS works great on Member servers. That is our recommendation of how to
install. If you are using advanced security you will need to have SQL 2000
SP3A. Also note that you want to carefully go through the Concepts,
Planning, Installation Guilde so you can setup your accounts correctly and
configure the site to work.
