Very strange. First of all I would post this to a SMS newsgroup, you'll get
more responses there.
I'm curious though, have you read through the setup logs on the client to
see what OS is being detected? When you open the control panel applet what
OS shows up? Is there anything you've done to these machines that is
'different' then other machines? Is restrictanonymous set to 1 in the
registry? What SMS SP are you using? Are you using network discovery, if so
are you telling it to get the OS? Are these dual boot machines? Are these
members of a child site that is getting passed to the central site? If so,
what OS shows up at the child site?
Good Luck
Terry
