You may want to post this to the sms group SMS.swdist you'll get more help.
You know SMS does some sort of checksum thing to validate the packages,
could it be that this package got updated with something and now the
checksum is off? Have you tried deleting it and recreating it? Have you
verified the package is on the DP?
