Hi,
I need some help regarding the removal of a Secondary site.
Here are my cirumstances.
Over the past year, people have tried to fix a Secondary site, which had
problems.
SMS has been on 2 servers, Eventually settling on MHD1 Server with the Roles
on MHD2.
Anyway. The Distribution of software stopped and clients didnt report back.
The upshot is that this secondary site was in some confusion.
Here is where I come in.
These servers are File and Print servers and at our head office (Cant be
touched)
MHD2 crashed and had to be rebooted. It caused all sorts of bother. With
this in mind,
I need advice about removing all SMS from the MHD1 server (As MHD2 has been
rebuilt)
I cannot reboot any server, but need to clean SMS.
What is the best way to do this (I have read about Right-Clicking the site
and Choosing Delete)
I intend to install SMS on another server (Purposly built for sms)
Any help or direction would be gratfully received.
Thanks
Spark
.
