RE: New collection

When you look at a collection Properties, you can either add a "Direct
Membership Rule", where you step through a wizard and you pick something like
"Find a resource where in System the NetbiosName is EXACTLY <whatever>", and
add it.

You can also add a query-based membership rule, where you can create a
collection query, and do something like "where in SystemResource, netbiosname
is like computername"; or "where in Add/Remove Programs, Adobe Acrobat reader
exists, and it is version 6.x, and it is an XP workstation"

fyi, there are more sms admins over at http://www.myitforum.com/forums, then
either the SMS2003 subforum, or the Configuration Manager subforum. For
whatever reason, this newsgroup isn't monitored by a lot of SMS Admins.
