That sounds like it's a right-click console extension, which isn't a part of
the core SMS product. Do you recall whose right-click extensions they are?
It's possible you need to remote the one you have, and install a newer
version.
There are several out there:

Hey there,.
When I run refresh machine policies on collections on my SMS server I get
lots of machines reporting back :
Advanced client not detected, Skipping...
I do a check on the computer and as it turns out they are not turned on...
So instead of reporting
Unable to ping
It reports back that the pc doesn't have Advanced client...
Any ideas why it would report back that it sees the computer but it doesn't
have the advanced client, rather than unable to ping??? I get a big mix of
both unable to ping (which I expect for machines turned off) and also lots
of Advanced client not detected...
Cheers!
