You want to capture a part of the HKLM hive:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\Mobile Client\Software
Distribution\Execution History
It details what was executed, and stops re-execution.
This information is also recorded in WMI but I think just having the
registry section in-place will stop further reruns of packages. Try it and
let us know.

Hello:
Because of business needs, I need to migrate user's accounts and
profiles from an old domain to another one.
Both domains have SMS 2003 installed and running; the thing is that I
have packages related to user's logons (that I replicate from old
domain to new one) that are already installed on user´s computer
(user's profile).
I migrated the user, profile, group and computer account using ADMT
and I did a vbs script that change every SID in the computer, from the
old one to the new one.
When I login with the user id in the new domain; SMS tryes to install
again the package that was installed when he was in the old domain. I
bealived some how SMS keeps track of the SID and because when I
migrate the user in the new domain creates a new SID even the history
is migrated with a relation to the old SID.
Can some can help me explain how SMS work in logon package so I can
find out a solution to this?
THANK YOU very much.

Hello Rob
You are so right :-D
All executed programs are recorded in the reg HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\Mobile Client\Software Distribution\Execution
History
What I did, was to duplicated all the entries in the reg with the new
SID and it work!
Thanks a lot for your help!
