I have done this and is not difficult, just do the testdbupgrade first on a
smsdb copy, not the production one and you will be fine.

if you can upgrade the clients first do it.

Hi,

Please can someone tell me if SP1 to SP3 is supported?

I have one customer still running SP1 on one primary site and 14 secondary
sites.

I have been booked in next week to upgrade to SP2 but i am thinking of going
straight to SP3.

Regards, Rm_knight
It is supported, there is no need to upgrade to sp2 first if you don't
want to.
