You could check the LocationServices.log on one of these clients. Note that an advanced client will report to its primary and not the secondary.

I have one primary site at HQ and 12 remote secondary sites. I have enabled BITS and made each site a protected DP to prevent software installations from installing from any site outside of their own. A few days ago, I enabled an advertisement to one of these remote sites to test this out and although the software installed successfully, I'm not sure how I can confirm that these clients installed the software from their own site DP and not across the WAN from our primary site server. I am worried that they did install across the WAN because when I look at the advertisement status, the primary site has 11 received and 18 programs started and all zeroes for the secondary site the software should have been installed from. Does anyone know how I can confirm the clients actually installed from their secondary site DP and not our primary site?.
Thanks
