Re: Removing a Primary Site - SMS 2003 SP2

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

hi,

are these sites connected?

afaik sms won't remove the entries from A/D you'll have to go in and delete them manually. others can correct me if i'm wrong here.

have you moved your clients from S1 to S2?

We currently have two primary site within our active directory. Both are running SMS 2003 SP2. Our Old site is called S1 and our new site is called S2. How does one get S1 completely out of the domain? If we do an uninstall of SMS 2003 on site S1 will this remove all schema within our active directory. I guess our question is how to cleanly remove site S1.
