You could be using a link to an old MMC Console.

Try disconnecting your SMS Console from the database and reconnecting
it.

Are you able to connect and use remote tools\desktop from a Workstation
Console?

Subject: remote control database could not be found after Windows 2k3
Sp1 update

I update my SMS server to Windows 2003 SP1.
I have a SMS Sp2 environment.

Before applying Windows 2003 SP1 I had no problem runnning remote
control as
a user.
After the Windows 2003 Sp1 got applied launching remote control through
the
same vb script I get the error message:

A database could not be found with the name supplied.

Through the script the remote.exe is envoked pointing to the SMS server.
It worked well before applying Windows 2003 SP1.

Any idea what I could look at? All the right confirguration within the
console is correct.
