Also, check if you have QOS with policing enabled on the link between the site server and the DP. That can have an effect like that as well as SMS is not aware of the QOS.

When my server is sending to the remotes DP a large package (450 Mb), I recieved a alert from windows 2003 like:

"windows - Delayed write faied - Windows was unable to save all the data for the file \2_h6ss01.pck. the data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardaware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere "

The primary site harware is ok"tested = OK"
The network comunication look good
