Hi,

sometimes admin$ is disabled from Registry.

and NAL stands for Network Access Acount which is not a valid reason in
this case.

can you please paste bit more detailed CCM log file.

thanks,

Diwan

Hi Diwan,

Thanks for the reply, can you clarify for me what an NAL is?

Also, i can see the ADMIN$ share on all of my client machines when i look in
our DAMEWARE application, so i am guessing it is enabled, its certainly
nothing that i have ever configured before...

Cheers

Hi All,

I am trying to install the advanced client across my network. I have
collected all of the client machines and am wanting to use the Push
Installation method.

I have configured the push installation to use an Enterprise Admin account
called SMS2003, which is a member of the Local Admin group on each machine
but they always fail with either an Access denied error or a network
unreachable error. I can successfully install the client locally when logged
on as SMS2003 using the .MSI file.

I get the following in CCM.Log :

---> ERROR: Connected to SCAT-002319 registry, but couldn't connect to the
\\SCAT-002319\admin$ share using account ''
$$<SMS_CLIENT_CONFIG_MANAGER><Thu Aug 10

Any idea's as to what is going on? All of the machines are definately turned
on, i can Ping them all etc.
