Single site SMS2003 SP1 w/advanced security on W2003 Server. Site server
is
also an MP and SLP. Approx. 3500 advanced clients.
On our site server, we're getting large IIS log files on a daily basis.
They average around 45MB per log file. We do have IIS logging enabled and
it
is scheduled to log daily. Default extended properties are selected in
the
Extended Logging Properties. There are no errors in the logs, just a huge
number of the following entries which occur about every minute. The
workstation IP address is different in each entry, of course.
2006-06-19 22:54:14 W3SVC1 {site server IP address} CCM_POST
/ccm_system/request - 80 - {workstation IP address} ccmhttp 200 0 0
Has anyone experienced this, and would it be considered normal? Or is
there
something going on I need to remedy?
Thanks for all suggestions!
I've noticed this, and just manually cleaned up the older logs on an as
needed basis...
Steve
