If your client cannot talk with SMS server using netbois name, but can use
DNS name, you can configure server FQDN name as below:
Go to site systems, find your server, double click it. YOu will see a check
box similary to "Specify FQDN". Specify your FQDN server name here.
Note: all clients in this site will use FQDN to talk with the server.

Where in the SMS client is the setting that tells it the patch to the MP?
I've got a client on a ISA Server that can go to
http://servername.domain.com
fine, but cannot go to http://servername. I'd like to be able to tweak the
string somehow to test the connectivity.
