Hi, Henrik
First of all, you'll have better luck if you post this in
microsoft.public.sms.software_updates. Second, It isn't really the SMS
server that needs to get access to the Internet, it's usually the
synchronization host (depends on the scan tool you're using, because not
every tool has a synch host). If you're using the Inventory Tool for
Microsoft Updates, the instructions for confguring the synch host are in the
deployment guide. If you still have questions, try
microsoft.public.sms.software_updates.

Hello!
We have a SMS 3.0 server which doesn't have any Internet access at the
moment. To allow this server to access the Internet to get patches to the
XP
clients we have to specify which ports the server will use and we also
have
specify the destination address (where the patches are downloaded from).
I can't seem to find this information anywhere, does anyone have any idea.
Best Regards,
Henrik
