SMS server load

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Hi group,

I have a single site server that has all of the site systems configured on
it and servicing total of 4,000 advanced clients in the AD. Of course, I am
encountering a bottleneck on the system resources (CPU and memory),
especially while SMS is doing Hardware/software inventory and AD discovery
(client push).

I am thinking of load balance the MP. Would like to seek for your advise if
doing so will balance some of the burden on the site server? If it will,
does MP need to be installed on a system that has SMS components or does
additional MP require a seperated SMS database or just only requires IIS?

Thanks in advanced for your help.

Jimmy
