If you configured your advertisement to do so, and there is no port
filtering going on by firewalls and such then yes it will download &
execute.

Depending on advertisement the client would run from dp/ download or
execute/ not run at all from the dp in site P1.
Either you install from a dp in the site where you are residing or from
a dp in your assigned site. No other options exist.

If the client is in s3 then p2 is not his resident management point,
answer is the same as above, local dp doesn't have the files so we
target assigned site dp's.

Nope, only difference is that proxy management points streamline
inventory and software metering data, and the query to find a local dp
is sent to a different mp (the net outcome should be identical).
