I'm assuming that when you say that your machines are "not receiving" the
client, you mean that in the context of the push install.
For a site-wide push, each install only happens because a discovery record
gets created (by some discovery method) and DDM generates a CCR file for
push (CCM). DDM will only generate the CCR if the discovered machine does
not have the client yet. In your case, since these are re-imaged machines,
they are registred on the site as having the client already, and no CCRs are
generated for them. Also, since these are server, you need to select the
push option to install on servers (in addition to workstations).
For targeted push, you need to select the option to push to servers. If the
machines already have clients, you need to select the 'always intall'
option.
For your SMSMAN, its easier if you just point the installation to a CAP, or
run SMSMAN off a CAP.
