Sure, but if you reread my rerun statements you would note that
advertisement 2, actually corresponds to my point 1 in rerunning.

Being an advertisement that has multiple schedules.

If you add an extra advertisement time, to an advertisement you
essentially make it a recurring advertisement. Recurring advertisements
rerun on all systems, failed & successful alike.

So in your environment, clients that failed once would then rerun the
advertisement once every hour which is most likely not what you want to
achieve.

I don't really see a way of automating the rerun on failed clients, with
standard sms components. With scripting it might be feasible though.

My personal feeling though is to take another look at the inhouse
package and figure out why it fails in such a large number of
installations.
