Hi Jose,
In SMS we create Package files in the Inboxes\schedule.box\tosend with
random extensions beginning with a P then 2 random characters. The Pif that
you are seeing most likely is one of these package files that just happened
to be created with the Pif extension. Your virus checker may not like this
extension because in the past the PIF was used to create a shortcut to, or
modify the properties of, an MS-DOS-based program. Because it is unlikely
that you are actually going to have these type of Pif files in your
environment, I think the only real solution would be to put the Pif
extension in the list of exclusions on that directory on your virus checker
so these random files will not be prevented.
My assumption is that you are not seeing a lot of these Pif file extensions?
Thanks,
