Hi Doug,

Im using Windows 2003 SP1 and SMS 2003 Server and have encountered this same
error:

Server object error 'ASP 0178 : 80070005'
Server.CreateObject Access Error
/smsreporting_a01/ReportsNav.asp, line 1055
The call to Server.CreateObject failed while checking permissions. Access is
denied to this object.


I tried your solution to give SMS Reporting Users group local activation
permission on SMS_Reporting_point via dcomcnfig.exe but still doesnt work.
What additional suggestions can you give? Thanks!
