Hi Steven,
thanks for the response. I am using nsi double-take to replicate the SQL
data in real time to another server. What I need is, in the event my site
server goes down, to be able to bring up those databases on another machine
right away. My question is, in order to do this, does the other server have
to have the same netbios name? IP address? is there anything else I would
need to replicate besides the SQL dbs to get it to come up? I'm trying to
recover from a failure quicker than what is outlined in the SMS Backup manual.
Thanks again.
