You do not neet to give Read permissions ot the site and everything below in
the hierarchy. For remote control only, all you need is make sure the group
(global group) is listed in the permitted viewer list and given the Read, Use
Remote Control tools to the collections you wish this group to have access
to.
Note: If your user group is not a global group, some, not all, users may
have problem connecting to the SMS database when attempting to take remote
control of a computer. In this case either fix the group or add individual
to the SMS Admins group on the SMS server.
