This is not a "Security" patch. It is a "Critical" update which makes a
settings change to address a security vulnerability. I'm sure the semantics
don't mean much, but they are rather important. At this time only
"Security" updates issued by MSRC are detectable and deployable using SMS
2003 Software Updates scan tools. You can deploy this update and other
critical updates using SMS Software distribution, but not with the Software
Updates wizard.
We know this is a signficant shortcoming and hope to address it with a
future release of the scan tools, but at this time there is no other
workaround.
