The Sync logs will be located in the %TEMP% directory.

I believe 12152 is a WinInet error code that usually pops up when there is a
Firewall/Proxy problem when the Sync is running. If you need to
authenticate to get outside of your network you should use
Patchdownloader.exe to configure a low-rights user account to do this.
