Don't understand why you had a problem with RWL as primary site; it's fine
to have 2 primaries in same w2k domain when they are on separate machines.
Was the RWL primary a child of RPL at any point (thinking having a child
primary, later replaced by child secondary with same site code, may have
confused it)?
Have you ever tried to create a remote cap of RWL on RPL site server, or
vice versa?

I think where everything went wrong was where I have had RPL created for a while now and everything is fine. I tried to create RWL as a totally seperate Primary Site with the Site name of RWL. This didn't work as the two physical sites are on the same W2K Domain. So, I uninstalled SMS from RWL and also removed SQL and then ran the Secondary Site installation straight from the SP5 install files. That all seemed to work so I configured the site with the same settings as RPL added in the Address and Senders and that is where I am to now. > > Any suggestions? > > Thanks.
