NAS is HP Storageworks 1200s, which has a more or less
modified version of Windows 2003 as OS.

The distmgr.log shows (server name modified):

~Cannot establish connection to
["Display=\\<server_name>\SMSshare\"]MSWNET:
["SMS_SITE=F01"]\\<server_name>\SMSshare\
$$<SMS_DISTRIBUTION_MANAGER><Mon Mar 15 17:39:01.353 2004
FLE Standard Time><thread=3032 (0xBD8)>
Error occurred. $$<SMS_DISTRIBUTION_MANAGER><Mon Mar 15

Performing error cleanup prior to returning.
$$<SMS_DISTRIBUTION_MANAGER><Mon Mar 15 17:39:01.353 2004

As far as I understand that's all related to this specific
distribution point. Manually from the server (with an
administrative user account) I can connect to server
without any problems, modify files and NTFS rights etc.
standard file operations.

Could this be related to SMS 2003 advanced security model,
where there's no user account involved, but everything is
done under site server computer account? Is there a way to
define an account for this?

There's only one SMS site (so far).

Thanks, John
