Hi,
Just read one of the threads wherein someone is having
problems with the XP machine getting "assigned" by SMS
for which he has been asked to check the "properties" of
the XP client machine in the SMS admin console "System
collection" container.
When i checked the same i found the Assigned Site, Client
type, client, Site Code ,Mac address, Subnet info etc...
to be exactly right except for the "OSnameandversion"
which is being assigned as "WindowsNT Workstation
5.1".Also point to note is that when i view the
collection specfic to "XP" systems i find "Assigned"
column to be "yes" but the "site-code" and "client-type"
column to be empty.Now i am missing something here !!
