Re: Font color changed

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Looking back at my Publisher and pdf files (I don't use it every day by any
means) it seems that the change to grayscale fonts took place sometime during
October.

The only Office Update which took place on my laptops in October, other than
ones which specifically say they apply to Excel, Word etc was KB955936 on 13
October. I am unable to uninstall this one to see if it makes any
difference, but could this have caused the problem?

I have exactly the same problem as JALU, except that it happens on both my
Vista 32-bit and Vista 64-bit laptops.

It has only happened recently (maybe an Office Update has changed
something?) and when I went back to an earlier Publisher 2007 file from which
I had created a pdf file which showed font colours correctly, recreating a
pdf resulted in the font colours changing to grayscale.

As with JALU, files from Word 2007 convert correctly - it is just with
Publisher. And I am using the Microsoft SaveAsPDFandXPS converter.

Perhaps installing the 2007 Microsoft Office Suite Service Pack 1 (SP1)
might help. It did fix a couple things with the Office PDF add-in...but then
again, perhaps this is just an issue with a 64 bit system:

The PDF file turned out to be fine on my laptop(32-bit Vista
w/office2007),
it's just my desktop(64-bit Vista) !!. How do I check the issue? BTW, I
use
"Save as PDF or XPS" in Word2007, and the color is correct. It seems only
Publisher2007 gives me the trouble.
