Arial Black doesn't have a native italic file. Publisher will faux italic. Can you high-light the text change it to some other font, turn off italics and then change it back to Arial Black? Does that work?

I think I have fixed the problem.

I opened the Fonts folder and then drag'n drop the two Arial Black fonts to the Desktop. I restarted the computer and then drag'n drop the fonts back to the Fonts folder.

This seemed to fix the problem.

There must be something to do with the XP SP3 update!!!
