I know John answered, but system restore will find the files on your
hardrive that have been deleted (as long as you haven't reused the space for
something else)
Using the same name changes the file.
I learned this the hard way, too, and now sometimes save a project twice,
once with a 2 or something with the name. So, when I go back to it and work
on it again, the original is still there (with the 2)
I noticed in Photoshop tutorials I was doing, it says to make a duplicate
of a picture and use that (not the original)to learn, and do things with.
That way it won't accidentally get saved OVER the original one.
I know, this isn't Photoshop but that's how I got in the habit of doing it.
Another of those live and learn things.

I created a brochure, then later in the day created a different file. I
saved
it as the previous file thinking it was something else, I need to get the
original file back. I tried a system restore but that didn't work, would
really appreciate some help. Thanks.
