Hello John

Yes, I have the 2007 version and downloading to Desktop was what I
did. I have also tried PrimoPdf but the result was not satisfactory -
incomplete conversion i.e. 1 and a half page out of 8.

Anyway, I repeated downloading the Add-in and this time I could
convert Word, Excel and Powerpoint but not the Publisher (cannot save
file), which is my main concern.

I have also tried Pack and Go for commercial printing to create the
pdf that way but it could not complete the operation.

I looked in the Print Setup, the printer name dropdown shows my
printer and Microsoft XPS document writer only even though my
download was for pdf and xps.

Any other suggestion?

In your Printer drop window...you should see
your default printer and PrimoPDF (if it is
installed) but the Office Plug-in will not be listed.

This is an unusual situation and I do not have
a solution. Maybe the following article would
offer some ideas:

the Norton AntiVirus Office plug-in

No guarantees that it will solve the issue but
I would suggest doing a little maintenance:

Empty your Temporary Internet Files Folder.

(260897) How to Delete the Contents of the
Temporary Internet Files Folder
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=260897

Running Disk Cleanup, Error Checking and
Defrag on a regular schedule is a good idea.

Tool in Windows XP

(315265) How to Perform Disk Error Checking
in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=315265
(check the two boxes..."Automatically fix file
system errors" and "Scan for and attempt
recovery of bad sectors") the utility will run
the next time you restart your computer.
(run error checking repeatedly until it finds
no errors)

Good luck.
