Glad to hear all is fine. My sister lives in Oregon, they've had some bad
weather. She relates a freezing fog, she fell on the ice, broke her back in
three places. No paralysis, but lots of pain.
You will miss your daughter when she becomes International; if that means she
will study elsewhere. I have a granddaughter in Germany we see very seldom. My
grandson is interning in New York as a fashion photographer.
Our dog is 13 years old and deaf as a post, nothing bothers him.
Take care...

Many thanks for the concern but we did fine. A few folks in the County lost
some roofing material and siding; 'haven't heard of any injuries. The
newscasters seem to have exaggerated it somewhat. Far less of a nuisance than
when Mt Saint Helens blew; ash everywhere and we're some 35 miles south of the
mountain.
Annie, the Mrs, was out running errands with her mom and experienced heavy
rains and I was home with daughter's dog, Amy, a bark forever Silky and then
continuous thunder followed by the heaviest downpour of hail that I've ever
experienced. When that happened, Pupper (the name I use for the dog) ran into
the Pupper Cave (under my roll-top desk; floor level) and stayed there until
the storm passed and her courage returned. Heavy hail for about 10 minutes
leaving ¼" of white stuff. My UPS kicked in and out a few times and all is
back to the normal NW rainy weather for this time of year.
Our daughter, a Junior (always "A's"!! going for a International Baccalaureate
Diploma!!) in hi-school reported they did a lockdown to keep the younguns from
any danger.
Take care,
Don

Did you weather the tornado okay? Do you need any help? How about the
neighbors?
