In this case I did choose 'publish as a PDF' - which I was perhaps
unclear on - to produce a PDF. I assumed the original PUB file would
be unchanged by the process but have found that not to be the case;
it has made the file single page and I can't figure how to get it
back to double page.

It wouldn't be a problem except that my newsletter has pages that
carry over from one issue to the next. Last month I had to recreate
the whole thing because I couldn't figure out how to change it back
to a two page spread. I don't want to have to do that every month.

Maybe it would be a good idea to retain
more than one copy of your project. It can
never hurt to have a backup.
