Re: File's layout changes from two page to single page after savin

It's fine until I save it to PDF. I think it would be OK if I didn't save it
again as PUB after creating the PDF file.

The old Publisher 2000 had a similar problem in that if you saved an HTML
file from the publisher file, both the PUB and HTML files were in HTML
format. I know I read that they were fixing that, but perhaps they didn't
fix it completely?

I will try not saving it again and see if that helps. Though that feels
like a work around to a real problem.

I think I may have discovered a bug, or else there is a very obscure
step that I have been failing to take.

I am creating a 20 page newsletter in Publisher 2007, 5 pieces of
paper double sided and folded in half. When I am working on the
newsletter, it looks fine - double page layout, all my fonts, the
works, however the moment I am done and SAVE THE FILE AS A PDF using
the patch that I recently downloaded from Microsoft, the original PUB
file CHANGES FROM A DOUBLE TO A SINGLE PAGE LAYOUT! I do nothing to
it except save and exit, but the next time I open the file, the
layout has gone wonky.

This has happened twice - in both September and October - however
this time I also saved the file as a Publisher 2000 file as well.
Luckily that older format file still retains the two page layout, so
I am not in the hot water I was last month, but I would REALLY like
to know what is going on. Is there something I should do (or not do)
when I save the file as a PDF? Or have I found a bug in the software?

What if you save the new file with your current
edits for the new month before you print to .pdf?
