Okay you can send as HTML if you select "send as a message." You are asked
about your mail client in 2007. I don't have any option but as an
attachment in 2003.

Publisher 2002 has a check off to send in the body of the email, but if
you don't have Outlook 2002 or Outlook Express installed you get an error.

I have sent myself HTML emails and have enabled receiving HTML messages,
more times than not the messages look terrible. Publisher 2007 wants to
include superfluous stuff. I am sure if I use a template it all would look
better. I have a friend that insists on sending HTML emails, she uses
fonts that are obscure, some she has made herself. I cannot convince her
to send a PDF. I have sent her a SnagIt of her email the way I receive it,
she thinks I need to repair my computer. She probably sends out fifty
emails a week.

Mary,

Would you please explain to me what you mean by no version lets you send
as an HTML any longer? I sure don't seem to have any problems sending
html formatted messages with 2003 or 2007 through OE 6. I don't use
Outlook.

No version lets you send as an HTML any longer. You will have to convert
the publication to a .mht or .html and send the email from your mail
program.

Publisher 2007 will allow you to send as a PDF, XPS and as an
attachment. There is the option to send as a message, Publisher will
gather up all the elements and make a try at composing a coherent
message, it is not good.

Could be that you are trying to use an older version of Outlook than
Publisher's version.

Why is this?

When I have used it in the past, on a different machine, you click on
file >
Send E-mail > Send as HTML.

However this option is not there, and the only option is to add as
attachment.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

many thanks
